Mix design is what ensures the ingredients within the concrete bond and create the required strength and durability. There are two main types of concrete mix: 1) Normal Performance Concrete and 2) High Performance Concrete.

Normal performance is the more used mix of the 2, and when fresh, will be semi-fluid in order to pour into the forms. The main difference and purpose for high performance mix is to reduce weight and improve durability of whatever structure it is being added to.

There are a multitude of factors that go into choosing exactly what mix we will use on your custom concrete project, such as: grade designation, choice of cement, choice of aggregate size, type of water, water-to-cement ratio, workability, and the list goes on.
